Annual Sports Day 2010 was celebrated at Don Bosco High School on 29th January, 2010. The day started with the welcome address delivered by Julian Samuel.

Following is the message of the welcome address.

On behalf of the Principal and the staff I welcome our honorable Chief Guest His grace Archbishop of Lahore LAWRENCE J. SALDANHA.

Honorable guests and Parents on the occasion of the Annual Sports Day of the school, it is a matter of pleasure and pride for me to say that our school is a reputable seat of learning in the most competitive environment. The school has created quality learning environment for its students by providing adequate facilities and students put their learning into practice with reflective minds and information.

The youth of today and the nation builder of tomorrow have plenty of opportunities to participate in the sports and other co-curricular activities for their innovative and creative expression blended with tolerance and other humanistic values.

Students of this school reflect their potentials in various forms of skills including art, Creative writing sports and games. Our school is certainly contributing in the development of new generation on modern lines, keeping in view present challenges and future needs. Students are advised to utilize their time and energy in seeking knowledge, developing skills and furnishing their minds with fresh ideas.

Healthy body guarantees healthy mind. Youth should be involved in co-curricular activities along with their academics to support healthy mind and body.

Our campus holds Funfair, Annual Sports as well as coaching of many outdoor games in the evening. In the year 2009, our school participated in the following sports events:

1) Winner of Lawrence. J. Saldanha Tournament
Arranged by: Catholic Youth Ministry

2) Punjab Olympics
Winner Of general trophy, First Position in Boxing and Third position in volley ball

Our Principal Sr. Shakila plays a vital role to promote activities to bring name and fame to the school.

In the end on the behalf of the Principal and the staff I congratulate His Grace Archbishop LAWRENCE. J. SALDANHA, on completing his golden jubilee of Priesthood in the Archdiocese of Lahore.
