School Regulations

  1. The discipline is gentle but firm. The students are under the constant guidance, supervision of the Sister and management.
  2. Parents are expected to cooperate with the school authorities seeing to it that students participate in curricular and co-curricular activities.
  3. Parents are kept informed about their children’s progress through terminal examination reports given to the students. They are requested to sign these as a proof that they have seen it.
  4. Parents and guardians or any other persons are not allowed to see the children or interview their teachers during school hours without permission of the authorities.
  5. Parents and guardians are requested to immediately notify the school if there is any change in student’s address or telephone number.
  6. Parents wishing to discuss the progress of their child may see the Principal during the visiting office hours and days. Parents can see the teachers only after the school hours.
  7. Suggestions for improvements of the school of their or any other matters should be addressed personally or by signed letter to the principal or call at phone number 042-6368575.
  8. Parents are not allowed to see the teachers during the examinations.


School Discipline and Rules
  1. Students are advised to wear full uniform including undergarments. The students not observing the school code will be suspended.
  2. Objectionable/immoral behaviour will result in dismissal from the school.
  3. Students late for school will not be permitted to attend the classes.
  4. Parents are requested to make sure that their children are well in time for school. Latecomers will be fined Rs. 10/- per day.
  5. Students will have to repair for damages of the school property or pay for its replacement.
  6. Littering is strictly forbidden, students should use dustbins provided for this purpose.
  7. Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery and bring any valuable things like mobile and money to school. A fine will be imposed for failure to observe the rules. School will not be responsible for any loss.
  8. A fine will be imposed by the Principal for any fault against punctually, regularity or any other discipline problem.
  9. The security of the student in guaranteed within the school premises. In case of any mishap out of the school, the school management will not be responsible.


Absence
  1. No leave of absence is granted except for a written application from the parents/guardians.
  2. Students absent for more than five days without a written application will have their names struck off from the rolls of the school.
  3. The re-admission fee is Rs. 1000/- after reassessment of the student.


Private Tuition
  1. Private tuition is strongly discouraged by the school administration.
  2. No teacher from the school staff may be hired as a private tutor unless the student obtains permission from the Principal.
  3. The school staff is not permitted to teach school students without the Principal’s permission.
  4. If students get admission in private/evening Academies, the school administration will not accept any leave application regarding their tests or other engagements.


Fee Payments

The tuition fee should be paid on time, i.e. by the due date after every two months, after which a fine will be imposed. The student will not be allowed to attend the classes or appear in the examinations/tests, if fee/dues are not cleared.

  1. Fee of two months will be paid at a time, kindly pay the fee by the due date. Last date of payment is 15th of the month.
  2. Late fee of Rs. 10/- per day will be charged if payments are delayed beyond the 15th of the month.
  3. Delay of payments beyond two installments renders a student liable to be struck off from the rolls of the school.
  4. If a student wishes to leave the school, he must give one month’s notice or pay advance fee for one month.


Examinations and Tests
  1. The academic year consists of terminal examinations and it is compulsory for each student to appear in all examinations. These examinations are taken in the course of the academic year.

  4. The pass percentage for promotion to the next class is 60% for all subjects.
  5. The results of the examinations are shown individually on the report card, which is requested to be signed.
  6. The parents or guardian is regularly informed about the progress of the child through a written report or in a Parent-Teacher Meeting.
  7. The results of the examinations are final and will not be re-considered.
  8. Students failing in two subjects will not be promoted.
  9. Any student scoring less than 60% aggregate will have to be withdrawn from the school.
